How to ask questions and report bugs

The best way for us to know where to put the most effort is for you to try the software and give us feedback. Simply e-mail help@stsci.edu. (Please try to use VTT in the subject line or early in the e-mail.)

If you are having problems using the VTT, please let us know. It doesn't matter if you are using it to prepare your HST proposal or just test driving it, if you don't understand how to use it we need to know that. We will try to get back to you quickly with instructions or a work around.

Bugs: help@stsci.edu

If you find a bug in the VTT, please tell us; we may not already know about it. If possible, please include what you remember doing before you had the problem and what platform you have installed it on.

Please feel free to tell us how the VTT could be better. What features should we add? How can it be made more intuitive for the first time user? (You can suggest changes to menu layout, dialog boxes, documentation, and even tooltips.)
