Moving around the image

The Visual Target Tuner allows you to easily pan and zoom across the image area.

Panning

Panning across the target area is easy. Regardless of what tool you have selected in the tool palette, you can always pan across the image by clicking anywhere on the target image and dragging across it. This allows you to move your current view within the larger image area.

Alternatively you can use the horizontal and vertical scroll bars to scroll across the target area.

Zooming

The VTT allows you to zoom in or out of an image. To activate the zoom feature, click on the

in the left hand tool bar. When the zoom tool is selected, clicking on the left mouse button zooms in to the image by a factor of two, and centers the zoomed image on the selected point. Similarly, clicking with the right mouse button zooms out by a factor of two. You may zoom in as far as 256X, or zoom out as far as 0.004X. To return your view to normal magnification (1.0X) in one step, select "Reset View" from the "ImageTools" menu.

Alternatively you can zoom in/out by selecting from the ImageTools menu.
