This directory contains the USNO-B1 catalog.

The catalog files are organized by south polar distance into
subdirectories 1 degree wide.  The directory name is the SPD 
(so 000 = Dec = -90deg, 001 = Dec = -89deg, etc.).  Each subdirectory
contains 10 catalog files with their associate accelerator index files.

So, in 000/,  the first two 0.1 tenth degree bands are
	000/b0000.cat
	000/b0001.cat
and their accelerator files are
	000/b0000.acc
	000/b0001.acc

Also in this directory is a gzipped tar file with a simple extraction
program to read the USNO-B1 catalog.  This program is meant as a
demonstration,  though it is functional.  The tar file is called
UBC.1.5a.tgz.
